Jared Baker has been teaching people to swim for over 25 years — and his passion for water safety and skill development has only grown stronger with every student he's taught.

Passion for Water Safety & Teaching
As an active Plantation Fire Fighter, Jared brings a level of emergency preparedness and calm authority to every lesson that parents find immediately reassuring. He holds WSI Lifeguard, CPR, AED, BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications — meaning he's not just a swim instructor, he's one of the most qualified water safety professionals in South Florida.
Jared teaches swimmers from 12 months old through adulthood, and he has a remarkable ability to connect with each student — whether it's a nervous toddler taking their first steps into the water, a child working toward competitive strokes, or an adult who never had the chance to learn as a kid.
Every lesson is private and one-on-one, held at your home or community pool. Jared believes that learning to swim should be a positive, confidence-building experience — and that every swimmer deserves personalized attention, not a crowded group class.
Based in Plantation, FL, Jared serves families throughout Broward County, 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm. His schedule is flexible because he knows that family life doesn't always fit into a rigid timetable.
